Hello, my name is Brandon Cate and I am the Senior Pastor here at Leadvale Baptist Church. I am a graduate of Johnson Bible College with a Bachelor of Science in Preaching and Bible.  I received my Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  I have previously served Beech Springs Baptist Family as youth pastor for 10 years.  It is such an honor to serve the Lord and work with His people.  I am so thankful to now be serving Leadvale and the people of God in White Pine.  It is the desire of my heart to see people love God more everyday, seek new ways to serve Him in this community, but most of all to see people turn from sin and trust in Jesus.  I have been married to my beautiful wife, Tracy, for 13 years, and we have been blessed with two incredible children - our son, Jeremiah, and our daughter, Paisley Grace.  Our passions are to be involved in White Pine community in any way possible.  I hope that you and your family will come and join us in serving this great community.

Shawn Majors was called to Leadvale Baptist Church in September of 2015. He is a  graduate of Shorter University with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance. Prior to coming to Leadvale, Shawn served as Minister of Music for at churches in Virginia and Georgia. His favorite verse from God’s Word is Psalm 19:14:

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, 

               be acceptable in Your sight, 

              O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.

Shawn is so thankful that the Lord led him to this wonderful family of believers that has such a love for God and for each other. And he longs to lead others to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. He is also thankful that Leadvale and God allow him to live out his heart’s desire: to lead people in praising and worshiping almighty God through music. Shawn is married to his beautiful wife Emily. He, Emily and their dog, Kirby make their home in White Pine, Tennessee.
